Yes, Ebay is Exciting BUT Walk With Caution

I. Ten steps to protect yourself from fraudulent (forgery) autographs online.

1. MYTH #1. Doesn't Good Positive Feedback suggest the autograph is authentic? The answer – NO. Many online forgers have 100% positive feedback. WHY? They give great customer service. They're essentially criminals selling forged autographs, however, they send items promptly, answer questions, and refund if the buyer discovers it is not authentic. Yet, these guys know a VERY SMALL FRACTION of buyers will ever get their autographs authenticated as these forgers prey on the inexperience of their victims. These inexperienced buyers do not know what they are buying, never mind knowing where to go to have it authenticated.

2. A pattern. Always, always check other items for sale by this seller. Many of these forgers have a pattern. For example, no one can sell an authentic Judy Garland autograph for $50, the market won't allow it. And, the market is made of experienced collectors. When an authentic Judy Garland does appear on Ebay you will see dramatic difference in the selling price, such as a genuine one that sold for $900 recently. Also, many of these sellers use the same type medium, i.e, same kind of paper. One particular Ebay forger from New England, who has sold over 100,000 forgeries on Ebay uses the same kind of paper for all his forgeries. He posts many of the same ones every week. So you can see he has the "same" Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley up almost every week and it is obvious the same person made out all the signatures. He sells about 2000 a week, hence in that quantity he doesn't have time to be creative. Another forger in NJ however, goes to great lengths to acquire old photos and old paper (usually torn out of old books) and does a convincing job tracing signatures. I call this type of forger the sophisticated forger as he doesn't waste his time with $50 items. I recently witnessed him sell a Beatles Forgery on Ebay for $3500.

3. Grossly Unvalued Sales: The online forger sells autographs every week for a fraction of actual value. If he were selling authentic autographs he would be paying close to market value to acquire them and hence NOT be able to sell for such low final bids. However, when you are forging all the signatures the overhead is, well, about zero.

4. MYTH #2. It comes with a COA so it must be real. COA's are only worth the value of the paper unless they come from a reputable source. The online forger NEVER uses a Certificate of Authenticity from a REPUTABLE SOURCE. He/she ONLY issues COA's made out by him (or her). Also, does his COA provide all contact information?

5. He/she has NO affiliations with reputable organizations for the autograph industry. And, most of the time if you question him/her on it he will proceed to tell you everything bad about that organization.

6. They cannot give you an honest source of their autographs. Many online forgers use the same fabricated story such as a guy from Austria who is selling an old man's collection, for the past two years. And, ALL obvious forgeries. So, beware of such claims. A forger cannot provide a sales history, receipt or reputable, documented source for their "autographs" because they never bought them.

7. Beware of "clipped signatures". These are pieces of paper with so-called autographs on them. In particular, NEVER buy a "high-end" autograph on a slip of paper. It is popular among forgers to forge very valuable signatures on pieces of paper like Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Greta Garbo, Marilyn Monroe, and Albert Einstein just to name a few. To protect yourself from these tactics always invest in ONLY signed documents. For example, if you are looking for a GENUINE Abraham Lincoln signature buy ONLY official signed documents from the time period he was alive such as a Presidential Military Appointment from 1863. . I have never seen an official presidential document forged, as forgers are highly unlikely to invest in one of these pricey documents just to forge them.

8. Yes, there is a eerie consistency in the psychology and disposition of most of these forgers I have encountered. When they are confronted, their responses are consistent with their criminal activity, namely defensiveness, denial and often vulgar. No snake likes to be uncovered. Ask WHO they got it from and can they prove it. Do they provide in writing that if proven NOT Authentic you will get your money back. And, do they provide contact information including phone number. So, if you ask them enough questions you may begin to uncover this typical disposition.

9. What can you do to insure you are buying GENUINE Autographs? Only buy from a reputable dealer, who has been in business for several years, has a physical or online store (web site), and is not hesitant to provide contact information. Ebay provides the ideal ANONYMOUS Identity opportunity for these unscrupulous people who make a living preying on the inexperienced. Also, don't just look for a Certificate of Authenticity as they are worthless unless they are backed by a reputable source, namely someone who will guarantee authenticity for life.

Also, there is a service called PSA quick opinion. This is a very inexpensive service that provides a experienced second opinion on an Ebay autograph. And, it is relatively inexpensive, $7.50 per item. They will return a "Likely Not genuine" or "Likely Genuine" result. Of course there are those who criticize PSA because they disagree with some of their findings (the online forgers despise them most). However, it is still a good service that will detect a large percentage of online forgeries. And, for the inexperienced buyer it could end up saving them from wasting, in the case of the forged Beatles photo, $3500.

10. They hide – They hide their feedback, they often hide their location by inputting some nonsense other then the town they live in (probably for fear of someone contacting the State Police Internet Crime unit or the Attorney General's Office). Their descriptions have very little specifics and NEVER contact information. Also, almost all of the Ebay autograph forgers have PRIVATE auctions for fear someone will contact the buyers and tip them off on the scam.

11. Educate yourself, don't be afraid to ask the seller the tough questions. Namely, how long have you been in the autograph business? Do you belong to any autograph associations? Do you have a store or web site? What is the history behind this piece? WHO authenticated it? Will you refund my money if I have it authenticated and it fails? Always remember, Caveat Emptor.

Shop for Medical Supplies Online and Save

In today's society time seems to be more important than ever and nobody likes wasting it. As a result online shopping has become incredibly popular. Of course, online shopping is popular not only because it saves time but it also allows you to find the items you are looking for at the lowest price. For example, if you are shopping for medical supplies online you will be able to search out the medical imaging supplies that are the cheapest and of the highest quality. When you are shopping for medical supplies over the Internet you can really save yourself a lot of money if you know what prices you are accustomed to paying and can compare them to the online shopping prices. Don't forget to include shipping to get a total amount so you will know how to make a good comparison.

Once you have made your comparisons you will more than likely find that buying your medical surgical supplies and other medical supplies over the Internet makes the most sense. In fact, if you do the math you will probably find out that you can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars per year by buying your supplies over the Internet. That is of course depends on how much you buy. Nevertheless you will save something and that is important. It is because of this that online shopping has become so very popular and will continue to be so for years to come if not forever.

The next time you go to the doctor and you leave with a long list of medical supplies you need from band aids to walkers you should just take a moment to surf the web and see what comparable prices are. Call your local pharmacy and find out what they charge and compare it to the prices you find online. Even with shipping charges added in you will be surprised at how much money you can save when you shop over the Internet. In fact, it does not even make sense to buy your medical supplies anywhere else. You pick out what you want over the Internet, pay for it, and it comes right to your doorstep. There is no leaving the house and driving from store to store in search of the cheapest price or a certain product. With the Internet you search for what you want and then you buy it. It really is as easy as that!

The Reverse Pyramid - Niche Markets and How to Find Yours

If multi-level and network marketing have been called pyramid schemes and scams, niche marketing is the reverse pyramid. Niches, as they are referred to on the web, occur naturally when one segment of a larger group is left out or separates itself in some way from a larger marketing trend. On the web, these niches are expanding and fragmenting rapidly and E-marketers seem to chase them around trying, usually unsuccessfully, to sell them something.

Positioning yourself on the front end of a trend is the ideal place to be. Let's take popular culture for example, when Pirates of the Caribbean was first released several years ago let's say you had an struggling online store that only sold embroidered pirate eye-patches and wooden legs you average 5 sales a month from November to September, sales peak in October with your store pulling in 5 times as many sales. But then Pirates of the Caribbean is released and your sales spike again with the prerelease hype, and sales spike with the release of the movie, they drop off as the movie goes to DVD but your sales stay elevated because of the buzz around the movie and the hype of more Pirates of the Caribbean movies to come.

You have had many custom orders for embroidered eye-patches with kid's names on them, pink eye-patches, etc. Your business is positioned well and operating on top of a niche in the Internet market. There are more and more eye-patch and wooden-leg sites starting to pop up all around you, but your custom sales stay consistent even though your don't sell any stock eye-patches anymore because the other sites are selling patches for .25 cents less than you. Sales still spike in October and each time a new Pirate movie is released. Now that you have grandma doing all the embroidery for the eye patches, you've built another site selling Magic Wands and Wizards cloaks waiting for the new Harry Potter release . . .

So how do you go about finding your niche on the Internet?

It's kind of like asking what came first the chicken or the road right, wait I got that mixed up . . .

Well if you're like 99% of the visible Internet marketers out there you try to find a sub-niche in the selling of riches and niches market (i.e. the MLM, get rich quick, and Network Marketing markets). If you're a true niche marketer you do some market research and you carve yourself out a niche within a sustainable and profitable market. You become friends with Google and Yahoo's Keyword tools, you buy books and you do research on what your market needs, wants, and can afford. You find a great (I didn't say cheap) webhost. Then you get busy creating content to satisfy your hungry customers. Get carvin . . .

The Search Engine Optimization Service in the Dominican Republic

We would probably all remember those times when we were a child, we used to listen to vendors at the street selling their products out, unless here in these Latin American countries especially here at the Dominican Republic, they use to wander around the streets with a big bike and a wide space so they put their products and goodies for the housekeepers who loves buying fresh things in the morning and or who can not go out to the supermarket, that is why "Pedrito" used to be the most special vendor in my block. If you don't yell out in the streets you don't sell. Same thing happen in the internet market: it is a big world full of their own rules, government, people and directions, the cyber space streets are a little different from that one of "Pedrito" although the same process for selling and being paid. Internet marketing has lots of methods and techniques for that, the most important one is called SEO, SEO is Search Engine Optimization, that means the streets where "Pedrito" will sell all those good and fresh things housekeepers need, in this case what Pedrito used to yell out in the streets was like this:

"Marchantaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, llego el Pedrito Compre las Verduras y los Vegetales Frescos, comprenla a mitad de precio!!" its like this: Here is Pedrito with the best and fresh vegetables, buy them now, I have an offer: half the price!!!

When a website is designed it is not just designing for designing it, most of the problems our designers has nowadays is this: they do not design what I call: "Intelligent Web Sites", an intelligent websites is that one who gets along pretty well with our Search Engines and speaks its languages fluently in order to gain a good ranking based on their keywords, keywords are those magic words internet surfers will use to get/buy/acquire a service, product etc. That is to say, if you sell vegetables you would probably understand people would look up your services around the web like this: "fresh vegetables for sale" or "half price vegetables" "fresh green vegetables", etc, therefore either your website will come out to top 10 listings or the competitors website will and will be at the internet surfer eyes, right in front on him/her. That is why arriving to top 10 positions is one of most desired thing nowadays in this cyber world. We all want people see our websites, even more if we have an online store in there!

A website has inside its design, programming codes, inside the codes there are many many tricks and secrets which can be unveiled if we start learning SEO language. They all work with algorithms that are plain mathematics moves; you must choose a good SEO company who knows and talk this SEO language very well. Although is not guaranteeing your website will achieve a good ranking due to several reasons: either if it's a flashy website, or it is a dynamic website. Static PHP and HTML websites are prone to be more SEO friendly and tends to accept changes very easily. This SEO Science at the Dominican Republic is just starting its pace as it only has little SEO specialists and services, because it is hard for our young designers to understand these little-at-a-first view complicated mechanisms of this internet marketing system.

How To Increase Your Website Traffic 5 Simple Free Methods

1. Work on SEO.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In detail, Search Engine Optimization is the process of making Web site pages attractive to search engines, and the great thing is that it's not hard to learn and apply the basics to your own Web site(s). SEO perhaps is the best thing in terms of free Web site promotion, because you won't need to spend much time on it. Through working on SEO, you can improve the page rankings of your Web pages and drive more traffic to your site.

Tip: The most important thing to work with SEO is using keyword. You need to describe your website with the most valuable keywords you can come up (e.g, the unique keywords that can make your site special, standing out from the crowd)

2. Write articles.

This Web site promotion strategy has an advantage which is you have someone promoting your Web site for you. And if you get your articles published on popular, long-lived Web sites or in well-known magazines, they can be sitting there promoting your Web site for a long, long time with no further effort on your part.
Anyway, there are something you need to work on. First, you have to have ability to write well on a topic or topics that other people have interest in reading and/or publishing. Second, you have to find the quality places (websites, e-magazines) for your articles to be published and persuade the people making the decisions to publish them. However you also need to mention the publishers that you are willing to let them publish your article for free.

Tip: Find the Web sites or magazines you want to be published on first, and then spend some time reading the content to see what type of material they might want . Also check whether your knowledge can cover that material. Then tailor your material to that particular site or magazine's needs.

3. Get others to link to you.

Again, you get free web site promotion when other people put a link to your site on their site. You also can rank higher on the search engines. Why? All of the big three search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN) use inbound links as an important part of the formula that determines a page's rank. The other search engines also copy the same formula.
When you choose a link, be aware that it's not just all about the number; it's the quality of the links that really matters. So you want to focus your reciprocal linking efforts on relevant quality links. The good way is to search for and identify relevant sites that you would like to have link to yours and then send their webmasters email requesting a link on their site, offering a link on your site in return.

Tip: You can check a Web site or Web page's ranking by using SEO tools such as Page Rank Lookup and the Link Popularity Tool. Google's Toolbar also has a Page Rank Display feature.

4. Become a social networker.

Most social networking sites, they point out, allow you to create a profile for free. Joining social networks which already have members and traffic is a good way to get free traffic for your website.
There's no reason why you can't belong to several social networks at once (except time constraints), but you will want to choose the network communities you join carefully.

Tip: To save time when joining social network, you can create a "master copy" of your profile information so that you can easily to copy and paste and create a new profile when you join a social networking group.

5. Become a blogger.

Creating your own blog is another great free Web site promotion strategy because it lets you apply several promotion strategies at once. You can create your blogging community, building a web of relationships and links. And of course, your blog will be keyword rich, increasing your Search Engine Optimization. You can set up a blog as part of an existing Web site, or give your new blog a site of its own.

Tip: Most of the famous social networks now also let members create blogs. So actually method 4 and 5 somehow overlap. Most blogs include the facility to make comments on posts. When you're reading another blog that's relevant to your topic, take the time to comment on a post. It's another opportunity to promote your Web site for free – while getting known in the blogging community.

How to use Autoresponders in Internet Marketing Part III

If you are wondering why you need different lists, many people want a list for each of their niches if they are involved in more that one, and even separate lists for prospects and customers, who have already made a purchase. You can separate your addresses in any way you want, even geographically if you collect zip code or even country information in your forms.

One very important use to which can use autoresponders in internet marketing is to send emails out to selected lists at specific intervals. You might have a number of newsletters that you want each person to receive at set times after registration. You can set the emails to be sent at specific intervals of days after they register. This is also useful if you are providing an email course on, for example, how to write effective emails. If your course is over seven days, your autoresponder will send out the parts one at a time, one a day. It can be set to send them out like this for every new member of the list.

You can set your autoresponder to switch people from list to another if they take certain actions. If they buy a product they can be moved from 'Prospects' to 'Customers', or if they respond in any way at all to any of your emails, they can be moved from 'Visitors' to 'Prospects'. You can program the autoresponder in any way you want you switch people between lists.

There is no doubt that if you know how to use autoresponders in internet marketing, then you have a great tool in your hands that is essential to meet the needs, and expectations, of people in the high speed society that this has become, when everything has to be done by yesterday.

Internet Marketing Affiliate Programs - How To Find Exactly What You Want!

One of the most widely searched terms online is "internet marketing affiliate programs". In this article I will attempt to clarify what people who use this search term are truly looking for and the differences between the intention of those using this popular search term. In addition I will assist you in finding exactly what you are looking for if you used this search term with a specific intent but are confused about how to discern the search results to get the information you want.

People who type in this search term generally fall into one of 3 categories. A) They are already involved in an affiliate program and are looking for marketing assistance to help promote that program or

B) They are actually looking for a program that offers internet marketing training that actually has an affiliate program they can participate in to generate profit. In other words those in category B are looking to market a product, service or opportunity that deals with internet marketing.

C) These researchers are interested in both.

If your goal is to find internet marketing training tools and techniques you can use to promote your business you most likely searched for the following: internet marketing affiliate programs. You most likely searched for the phrase exactly as I wrote it. The problem is that the search results will show websites that pertain to both categories relevant to this topic. The best way to search for what you want is to type in: "internet marketing", affiliate programs exactly as I have written with the words internet marketing in quotes and a comma space before the word affiliate.

This provides a completely different set of results than what you most likely typed initially. If you fit into category B and you are interested in marketing a program that teaches internet marketing training you would type in the reverse of the above. The search term you would use is "affiliate programs", internet marketing. This will provide you with search results more relevant to your actual interest.

Now that we know how to search for exactly what you want I would like to mention a resource that is the quintessence of internet marketing affiliate programs The product is called The Internet Marketing Tool kit by Dan Mcgonagle. Not only does the program offer you the ability of learning internet marketing techniques you can use to promote any current affiliate program you may be in but it also has an affiliate program you can use to generate extra cash.

Search Engine Visibility News - The Values of Search Engine Optimization

The Web is growing at an exponential rate. ComScore Networks reported that in January 2007 there was a whapping 747 million active Internet users, a 10 percent increase versus January 2006.

Every day, individuals on the Web use major search engines to launch over 400 million queries for products, services and information. Can they find your Web site? Successful online marketers recognize the potential of this enormous online market, and have developed comprehensive Web site positioning strategies for capturing their share of this immense market.

Search engines are the most popular vehicle to connect users to Web sites. Search engines and directories provide the first step in the online communications link. Search engine results are the bridge between potential consumers and your Web site. It is crucial that your Web site possess search engine visibility and that it is listed prominently (the top 30 results) within search results for relevant key phrases.

Search Engines: Permission Marketing

The Internet is an interactive medium where we can be "in touch" with interested parties 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Potential customers use search engines and directories to locate content and discover new Web sites every day, and a typical search query will often result in over a million search matches. If you have not considered a Web site positioning strategy, you are probably losing valuable business.

Over 80% of Internet users use search engines and directories to find Web sites, according to Forrester Research.

Online shopping continues to grow at a healthy clip. It reached a total of $65 billion last year, jumping 26 percent higher than the previous year.

Internet spending for 2006 totaled $102 billion, an increase of 24% from the previous year.

The first 10 results for any search have click-thru rates of 65% according to a study by Berrier & Associates.

A study conducted by IMT Strategies found that search engines are the #1 way people find Web sites. Random surfing and word-of-mouth ranked second.

Traffic from search engines is the most valuable kind of internet traffic because it is comprised of people actively looking for a specific product, service, information or solution.

Search engine users make four separate and distinct choices:

* They don't usually go beyond the first 30 search listings.

* They choose to use the Internet to research an issue or solve a problem.

* They choose one of the 8-18 major search engines to launch their search.

* They choose a particular keyword or phrase as the basis of their search.

These are highly qualified targeted visitors. They are very close to reaching a buying decision. This is the visitor you want to attract. These are buyers, not window shoppers.

Search Engine Optimization - Is it worthwhile?

After spending thousands, even millions, of dollars developing a Web site, businesses often discover that the site is invisible in the major search engines. Failing to take your Web site's search engine and directory visibility into consideration when making site development decisions, is an untimely and expensive mistake.

Businesses must either reinvest in a post-launch redesign of their site, or accept the extremely limited results that they will achieve with their site. Recognizing the importance and the need of search engine optimization in the development of your Web site is very important in your online success.

Creating customer satisfaction and loyalty?

Users of Internet search engines are on a mission to solve a problem. How quickly they are able to find an answer to their problem is directly related to customer satisfaction. How quickly they are able to find your Web site, if they are searching for you by name, is directly related to their opinion of your brand. A lifetime relationship with your brand is at stake every time someone conducts a query via a search engine.

Only one of two outcomes is possible each time a member of your potential audience, or an existing customer, performs a search in a major engine:

* They will find your Web site or a competitor's Web site.

Your online success is very dependent upon the quality and success of your Web site positioning campaign. A search engine optimization strategy must be created and implemented so that your Web site can be found in the major search engines and directories when someone performs a keyword or phrase query relevant to your site's product or service offering.

There is alot at stake every hour of every day that you do not have a comprehensive Web site positioning strategy in place. You are losing critical revenue with every passing minute.

How to Setup a Wireless Merchant Account

A wireless merchant account can really help your business run as smoothly as possible. While this wasn't an option in the past, you can now accept payments wirelessly to make payments as convenient as possible for both you and your clients. Setting up your merchant service can be very simple if you follow just a few simple tips. Going wireless will open a whole new world of opportunities for your ecommerce business because you can accept credit cards online any time including online, at a trade show, or even out of your car or home office. You will have no limits as to how and where you can make money, which can supplement the money you make online.

One of the most important things to think about when looking for an Internet merchant account is the relevancy of the product or service that you are buying. As you probably know, computers and many other devices are extinct by the time they hit the market. You may want to avoid wireless credit card process known as CDPD as this is going the way of the dinosaurs and will not provide you with the service that you need for very long. Going with an older service or extinct service provider will limit what you can do as when, and may also limit the success of your clients transactions. When purchasing a wireless merchant account credit card service you want the most mobility possible.

When setting up your Internet merchant account you will first want to choose a company that will provide you with the coverage that you need. Generally all companies provide good coverage, but you want to work with a company that favors your area. Companies can provide you with maps so you are sure to choose the one that benefits you most. When you do this remember that most banks actually outsource their merchant accounts, so you can save time by bypassing the bank and simply going to the merchant account service provider.

The most important thing you can do when setting up an Internet merchant account is to plan ahead for the setup. If you need the merchant service up and running by a certain date you won't want to wait until the last minute. Sometimes it takes awhile to get these accounts set up do to fraud that often takes place on the service, so give yourself plenty of time to get the account set up to avoid the stress. You should also be prepared to pay deposits and meet the demands of the merchant account service that may require a lot of proof about who you are and what your business is.

Search Engine Optimization Company Standards

Search for a professional and ethical seo company is not a easy task, There are nowadays many seo companies and they all are claiming top 10 rankings within days or months. Basically seo's cannot guarantee the search engine ranking results. Even the Google can't change The results, Google or other search engines have made certain algorithms by which the results are displayed. The seo's can work on the website according the search engines and they can predict for the ranking and many times the ranking comes and sometimes not. So How to find a search engine optimization company, these are some question ares by which your search can come to the easy steps.

First thing how long the company exists in the seo field, I mean to say they must have 3-4 years of experience in the seo field. They must have completed at least 30-40 successful projects. The completed seo projects means they are coming at the top keywords in the search engine rankings. The customers are well satisfied from the seo company, I mean to say the client feedback and Testimonials of satisfied customers. Ask the company's portfolio of completed projects, If the seo company can give a client's reference then ask them for reference.

Second thing what will be the seo approach for the company, what are the steps followed be them, Each and every step is so important in search engine optimization because they can effect your placement in the SERPs. For how many keywords and how many pages they are working. The weekly of fortnightly ranking report is required with traffic and log files analysis. Research for each targeted keyword and all these on page and off page work. Ask for seo company to work only on targeted traffic not for junk traffic. The junk traffic can't convert into sales or leads.

The third and important thing is the black hat seo. In the present scenario seo companies are giving you assurance to come in the search engines within a week or ten days or very early search engine rankings, They are doing unethical search optimization and which is very harmful for the website. By the unethical seo techniques your website come in the search engines very early and can banned soon by the search engines as well. Best Practices for Email Marketing

If you run a small business, then you probably already know that one of the most successful, cost-effective marketing strategies available today is email marketing. Email campaigns are great for small businesses because they are typically inexpensive, very targeted, and the results are measurable, allowing you to track things like click-thru rates, opens, bounces, and resulting web traffic patterns. But like most other marketing initiatives, there are some basic strategies you can use to improve your chances of success. To make your email campaign as effective as possible, try to follow these best practices:

1. Make sure your e-mail looks related to your other marketing materials, especially your web site. Always include your logo, and keep the same "look and feel" so that your email campaign matches not only your web site, but all of your other corporate branding and marketing materials as well.

2. Design for the "Preview Pane" first. The "preview pane" is the area in an email tool (such as Outlook) that displays even if a user doesn't actually open the email. Most preview panes are between two and four inches tall, so use this space wisely. Be sure your company name is clearly displayed, and include an interesting, benefits-oriented headline that encourages the reader to actually open the email and take some type of action.

3. Use links to drive traffic to your web site. One of the advantages of email marketing is that you can add links that take your readers directly to more information, to an online ordering page, or to another targeted page on your web site. These links can also help you determine reader interest in certain topics or information.

4. Don't overload your email with photos and graphics. Many people have the images turned off in their email programs anyway, and email security filters may block the email from even reaching your customer's inbox. Instead use good, clean html formatting and use fonts, headlines, colors, and other layout elements to make your email piece attractive.

5. Use columns in your email layout to improve readability and organization. Because columns have shorter lines, the text is more easily read and understood by most recipients. Columns also allow you to fit more content into a space than just plain margin-to-margin text, which gives you more options for organizing the information as well.

6. Always use a professional ListServ service to deliver your email campaigns. These services ensure that your list management functions (like opt-in/opt-out, sp@m compliance, etc.) are handled appropriately, and also provide you with the ability to track and measure campaign results.

How To Start An Internet Business But Do Not Know How?

My problem too . . . until I decided to do something about it!

Over the past years, I have dedicated my time to learning what works online, finding the successful internet
marketing experts that provide the best money making products.

Most people want and need help to succeed with their internet business online or their affiliate marketing program, but do not know the essential things to look for and where to look.

Essential things to look for:

1. What types of advertising work best.

2. What type of advertising works FAST!

3. How to get Google to send people to your website.

4. Which search engines will send you free traffic.

5. How you can sell top products today.

6. Reviews of the top traffic generating products.

7. What to avoid when doing business online.

8. Articles jam packed with tips and information a person needs to make money online.

Marketing tools offered by the successful experts for their affiliates of their programs include:

A product review page. When a person can copy and paste the program to a file, with an affiliate ID number embedded in the copy, this makes for easy page building on a persons web site.

Text Links. A must, if the program offers none, pass on it.

Banner Ads. Also a must. I select the banners that are not animated. My belief, animation detracts the visitors attention from focusing on the page message. My opinion.

Email Copy. When using an autoresponder, this makes setting up a series of follow ups much easier.

Classified Ads copy. Much like email copy, possibly 4 or 5 lines to conform to classified ad sites.

Solo ads copy. Similar to a products review page. Keep to about 400 to 500 words.

NOTE: When a person discovers affiliate program with all of these marketing tools, that person hit a gold mine. Do not become discouraged, I know a few experts, with money making programs, offering many of these tools.

Many people today suffer from two things. These things, when combined, are almost always FATAL to their
success. They are:

1. Too little time to do deep research. A fact, it takes TIME and MONEY to learn what works online.

2. Falling prey to slick sales letters. Suffering from INFORMATION OVERLOAD?

Think about this.

Our parents can not teach us to succeed online...

Universities can not teach us about the Internet...

Experience does not prepare us for being online...

The answer? Go to the Experts. People who can help you succeed. People that mentor internet marketers.

Why learn from the experts? Saves a person time and money! The experts have the, How to Start an Online Business, figured out. My advice is to go with the proven leaders. The ones with 5 years or more experience online.

5 Ways To Get Your Emails Read

Internet marketing can be much cheaper than offline marketing. And a big reason
why is because email is free. However, if no one opens your emails, what's the point
of even sending them? This has been a problem for years for many Internet Marketers.
Let's take a look at five main ways to get people to open your emails. These ways are
time tested and proven to work.

(1) Invite people to opt-in and sign up for your free report. Tell them updates will
come regularly, weekly supplements to save in a file. People like free stuff and
information that is good. Don't spam them, though, and start sending junk. Keep
your content fresh and helpful for them so that they'll keep coming back. Make
sure you supply the new subscriber with instant gratification. This can be accomplished
by sending an email to the new subscriber the moment he/she submits their name
and email address. In this email thank them for their interest in your site and have
the download link in that email for the free report you promised. This will get you off
to a good start and make the beginnings of a great relationship with your new subscriber.

(2) Include informative and exciting headlines to (a) brand your emails so that
people know who they are from and want to open them (b) entice readers to
open them. For example, use something like, "IM (Internet Marketing) Report:
7 Top Email Marketing Tips to Explode Conversions!" Using the same pre-subject line
word or phase like "IM" in every subject line you send out let's people know it's you.
By branding yourself you make it easy for your subscribers to know who the email is
from. Let's face it, your subscribers are on plenty of other people's lists and you
need to do everything you can to stand out above the rest and get your emails
opened. Branding is one great way to do this.

(3) Run your email messages through a spamming software test like Spam Assassin
at http://www.spamassassin.apache.org. Check with your auto responder or email host
to see if they have any of this software already in place, like Aweber does. This software
helps you weed out unwanted spamming phrases that trigger filters to delete your email
before your clients get to read them. This is a step many people overlook but in reality
this should be the next thing you do after writing your email to your subscribers.

(4) Follow the law and have your mailing address and a working unsubscribe link with in
your messages. Simply knowing you have these in every mailing increases readership
because people know you are not trying to trick them with unwanted junk content.
Plus filters won't remove these when they spot your information inside, increasing the
deliverability and hence readership factors. Plus, by having this information inside you
will be complying with anti-spam laws thus helping to solidify you as someone to be trusted.

(5) Educate your subscribers about the ability to white list your email address and domain
name. This allows your emails to pass through filters. All white listing does is makes certain
your email will be delivered to your subscriber. White listing is when a subscriber or anyone
for that matter adds your email address to their safe list of emails that they accept without
hesitation.

The better prepared you are and the better you prepare your subscribers and list recipients,
the better your chances of people opening your emails. If you follow these steps your open
rates will increase on the emails you send out. The more open emails, the better chance
you have to generate revenue and a fan base.

It is so easy to get lost in the pile of emails people receive on a daily basis. This is why it
is so important to follow the steps outlined above. You have to start the relationship off
right so make sure you follow step 1 to a tee. People want instant gratification and nothing
less. This is just the way it is in our society. If you fail to deliver on this crucial first step
you are heading for a disappointing ending.

One last thing. Do not resort to using anything other than text in your subject line. Spam
filters do not like too much punctuation in the subject line and will filter your email to the
junk folder before you can say hi. If you have to use punctuation stick to one usage with
either an exclamation point, question mark or a period. Use this information to start getting
your emails opened and read, it works for me and will work for you.

Driving Profitable Traffic To Your Website - How To Get Your Website Ahead Of The Pack

So you have a website for your business or affiliate program or you are in the process of creating one. If you are new to web design you are probably just learning the hard way that you cannot simply submit your website to google and start raking in the web traffic. It can be frustrating for someone just starting out in the affiliate marketing field when they put so much time and effort into a website only to find out they have had one or two visitors in three months and no commission checks. There are many ways to drive profitable traffic to your website. Some of them cost money and some of them don't. The one's that don't typically are the one's that take alot more time and effort. I have broken some of the most common ways to drive traffic to your site down below into 3 categories.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

The first way to increase your website's traffic is by optimizing it so that your site will rank high on search engines. This process sounds much easier than it really is. Search engines such as google rank their indexed websites by things such as relevance, quality of the content and credibility. If you have a site with false information or not alot of information, chances are you wont be indexed very high if at all. Search engines also look for credibility. They determine this by the quality of pages that link to your website. If you can get a high ranking website such as a government site to link to your website you are going to dramatically improve your search engine ranking. The more high quality pages you can have link to your site the higher you are going to rank. For a complete run down of characteristics that search engines look for please visit my website listed below. Another thing you can do to increase your website's visibility is to submit your information to on-line directories. If you are unable to get any high quality websites to link to you there are alternatives. You can get links to your website without actually contacting any high ranking websites or paying for links. This alternative leads me into my next category.

On-Line Articles (Such As This Site)

This category has dual importance in gaining traffic to your website. First of all, many people search the web for information on a regular basis. This also means that many people read on-line articles. There are literally thousands of websites that will allow you to submit articles to them to be published on their website at no charge. No only is your on-line article that you submitted show up on search engines, but you can put a link to your website within your article. This not only drives traffic to your website but it increases your rank on a search engine because you know have a quality incoming link to your website. If you write a quality on-line article outlining some of the information you have on your website, chances are many will visit your website for more quality information. This is a free yet effective way to drive traffic to your website.

Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC)

One fast and effective way to drive traffic to your website is through pay-per-click advertising. What this means is you sign up for an account with a search engine and set a maximum price you are willing to pay for advertising. The search engine then displays your add on search results and relevant websites and you only pay when someone clicks your add to your website. The cost you pay per click to your website depends on how high the keywords are selling for. A word of caution: This method sounds much easier than it really is. I highly recommend doing alot of research on PPC advertising before committing to it.

There are many other ways to drive traffic to your website that are not covered here. Alot of it comes with research and experience. For more information please visit my website below.

Long Term Search Engine Optimization Strategies

When it comes to what works in the search engines, a lot of advice you read is the latest flavor of the week or loophole that someone's uncovered that will help you get great search engine rankings… for about a week.

It's also true that little things change on a monthly or weekly basis. These little changes can be almost impossible to keep up with.

So what's a person supposed to do to get great search engine rankings?

Simple. Stop focusing on the little things, like tweaking your keyword density, or changing your meta tags, and focus on the factors that are going to matter long term.

Fortunately, there are some basic principles that you can apply that can help you weather the storm of constantly fluctuating search engine algorithms. These are methods that have worked for years, and will work for the foreseeable future.

1) Write Great Content

Make the focus of your site on having really good content. I know that if you've read some of my previous articles, you'll know that I continually harp on the importance of having great content. Well, the reason is that the search engines want to rank the sites that have the best content the highest. Also, people will naturally link to great content. Give the search engines and people what they want – quality content. Avoid quickly thrown together crap, and if you hire writers, make sure they know the subject matter they're writing about.

2) Update Frequently

Your website should be updated frequently. This means not just going in and tweaking what's already on your site, but having a steady stream of new content flowing into the site. I like to use blogs for this purpose since they're really easy to use and maintain.

3) Get Links

Build up your links. You should always be seeking out quality one way links. Whether you're using article marketing, directories, or press releases, be proactive in getting new links to your website.

Once you start focusing on long term optimization methods, you'll find that your rankings will improve without you having to go in and make little changes every time you read about what the search engines are favoring that month. Your content will rise to the top over time without you needing to constantly mess with it.

Email Marketing - How to Organize Your Email Campaign II

If your purpose is to sell a $5000 coaching program, then every email should have that in mind. Now, you don't want to push the $5000 program in every email. In fact, you may create a sales funnel where you introduce people to you with a low-priced item, such as a $10 or $20 book. Then, once they buy that book, some people will decide they don't like you. And that is ok. But the half of the people that do, you need something for them, so they can get to know you better. So you create a $50 or a $100 book. But you are not creating it for the purpose of selling a $50 or a $100 book – you are creating it so that the people who liked your entry-level book can get a deeper taste of what you are like, a sampling of what they can learn in your $5000 program.

Next, perhaps you create a $500 program for the people who liked your $100 book. And out of the people who buy that $500 program and like it is a pool of people who will buy your $5000 program.

The purpose of selling each of the intermediate books was so that people could become comfortable enough with you to buy your $5000 program. Every email should be sent with that in mind. And again, I am not talking about just sales letters. I am talking about every email.

This series is continued. Please go to Part III for additional information.

Why Do You Have that Website Anyway?

The real question should be; is it a serious business or just a hobby? The answer determines quite a bit. There are many reasons to be on the Internet, from ego where you feel the need to show your personal nature, or to connect with others. Perhaps your five-year old said that the family should have one because the neighbors do. Or you like fishing so you thought that you could paste up pictures of your catches to impress anyone that chanced upon your site. But, if you are actually in this to make money and consider your site a business venture, listen up. Are you treating it like a business?

I was a Yellow Page consultant for 25 years and advised thousands of companies during that time. Most were small, mom and pop types that worked out of the home. That's not a knock against them, it's just the reality of the majority of my accounts. Let's assume that you are in that group and work out of a home office. That website was a modest investment, but you hope to strike it rich, like the couple that founded Flickr.com, a photo-sharing site, a few years back. They sold it to Yahoo in 2005 for about 100 million dollars after it was up and running for six whole months. Is that your American dream?

Let's just say that it would be a nice outcome. Who wouldn't enjoy that kind of payday? In the meanwhile, what are you doing to build a following? Today, almost ten million people use the Flickr website. How are your numbers? Nowadays, just because you have some pretty pictures and decent content is not enough to succeed. With millions of sites competing for the viewer, you must be very pro-active to get your fair share of recipients. It begins on the site itself. What makes yours worthwhile and different?

I used to tell my clients to design a Yellow Page ad around what makes you unique. So my plumber would tell me that they are experts and do good work at low prices. Well, that describes nearly EVERY plumber in the directory. I would ask about other unique services or products. It isn't easy but it's necessary. Why should I visit your website with so many others clamoring for my business? Think about it and I know I did. I designed a health information website that is totally different from all others. It has features and benefits found nowhere else. Now, was that by accident? No, it was created that way.

So you must have a set of elements that the consumer won't find in other places. Then advertise the heck out of it. Try Google Adwords, Yahoo marketer, write articles, get out press releases, and tell everyone you know about the site. Link to any other website that will have you. Remember, you can never do TOO much marketing, but you have to do something. You owe it to yourself and your business. Otherwise, your website is just a hobby.

An Honest Review Of Learn The Real Deal

Are you ready for the "real deal?"

The headline of the site reads "Imagine Waking Up Richer Than Britney's Spears." When I first read this headline at learntherealdeal I could not stop laughing. I didn't think in anyway that the site could be serious. The more I read on, the more I was drawn into it. From the pictures presented as proof, to the testimonials by possible movie characters, I thought what's next? Every time I return to the Real Straight Shooter's site I see something I missed the first time.

I signed up to receive free information and soon afterwards became hooked. The tips were different from the usual rehashing about Google and managing email lists. It was easy to see that this person was going out of their way to tell me things I needed to know rather then only what I wanted to hear. Using a name such as "Real straight shooter," makes total sense.

Is the Real Straight Shooter's program different from every other online marketing course?

Yes, drastically different. It's not the same old "buy my program so you can sell my program" offer that litters the Internet and fills my email inbox everyday. It didn't take a licensed detective to see that the site looked as if the webmaster had completely gone off the deep end. The Real Straight Shooter claims to have used such a unique style to get my attention and he was right, it worked.

After reading email tips for a week I decided to splurge one night and give it a try. I really liked that the program was written in a tell-all-and-hold-nothing-back style. A lot of products are designed to influence people into making ongoing purchases as they continue to learn. The Real Straight Shooter program is the first program I've ever read that gave me immediate direction. He skipped all the hype, fluff, and filler along with pointless self loathing many online marketers engage in.

His ongoing support is turning the online marketing community upside down. Unlike every single so called Internet expert, this guy actually took the time to draw up an entire marketing plan for me based upon my ideas.

After reading the program not only was I impressed, I learned how detrimental traffic to any site is online and how if you create your own Websites and pre think your marketing strategy, webmasters will fall over each other to send traffic to your site. He explained very well what captures people's interests online and why to think about your marketing strategy long before you build a Website or choose an affiliate program.

Experienced affiliates will get a kick out of his affiliate page too. Some banner ads have monkeys that mock the whole work-at-home (by doing nothing) industry. I liked his marketing perspective for the program as well. The program seems to give CB affiliates the upper hand by drastically reducing their PPC keyword costs. Finding high converting keywords for cheap is usually like looking for a needle in a haystack with any affiliate program. This is the first program I've seen that allows anyone to cash in by simply exposing new online scams. Popular forums about business and business scams reveal great keyword choices. The link to the affiliate page is hidden at the bottom of the privacy/legal page. If you're experienced with Adwords you'll appreciate how easy and inexpensive it is to find high converting keywords.

Bottom Line, Is "The Real Deal" Worth It?

If you know a little bit about Adwords, Adsense, and Affiliate programs I know you'll greatly appreciate how the Real Straight Shooter connects all the dots. Want basic information? Try his free newsletter. If more advanced tips are what you're hot for, I would definitely recommend reading his program. Unlike what every program claims, this one is, a real deal. Learn the real deal

5 Smart Ways to Improve Page Rankings - Part 1

The majority of todays experts agree that web pages have to be search engine friendly to improve your search engine rankings. You must start with a well designed page with relevant web copy. This is crucial. Doing this properly will help the search engines easily index your web pages and rank them high.

In addition to internal page factors such as frequency and positioning of relevant keyword phrases, the leading search engines are now recommending that you place more importance on off the page factors, particularly links from other domains.

If you are bent on working with Google then you need to understand that Google ranks individual urls based on which other urls link to them, which urls link to those and so on.

You must carefully choose the terms you want to use to include as the most productive search terms for your site. Consider carefully terms that associate with the correct targeted visitors for your site. Place these terms in the search engines and find out what pages rank near the top for them. These pages should be on your list if you want to link to them.

Once you've completed this step now find which pages are linked to these sites and put them on your list as well. If you are able to get links from any of these sites then you will be able to dramatically improve your ranking on Google and other search engines.

In summary here are the key steps to always follow:

  • Improve your Link Popularity
  • Carefully consider your Metatags and Keywords/Phrases
  • Write a persuasive Home Page
  • Use Clickthroughs and Affiliate Programs for better ranking
  • Submit a Site Map

Your eCommerce Website - How to Gain the Trust of Prospective Customers

If you've an eCommerce website you understand perfectly the need to generate a reliable stream of traffic to your venue. Reliable and steady traffic means reliable and steady profits. Of course, there are many factors that come into play when you are dealing with developing and then maintaining a strong traffic flow to your website. Chief amongst these considerations is gaining the trust of prospective customers or clients when it comes to your eCommerce website. Through this article, you will be provided with an overview of tactics and strategies that you can employ when it comes to gaining the trust of prospective customers or clients for your eCommerce website.

Develop and Design an Appealing Site

One of the most important steps that you will need to take in order to gain the trust of prospective customers or clients is to ensure that your eCommerce website is attractive. Consumers naturally are more inclined to put their trust in an eCommerce website that is professional in its appearance. Business is lost each and every day in cyberspace due to the unprofessional appearance of some eCommerce website venues.

Testimonials can be Useful and Helpful

Another method that you can employ to instill confidence and to gain the trust of prospective customers or clients is the inclusion of testimonials from satisfied customers or clients at your eCommerce website. History oftentimes is the best indication of future performance. Therefore, by including testimonials from satisfied customers or clients at your eCommerce website, you will be taking an important and meaningful step in gaining the confidence of prospective customers or clients.

List Affiliations at Your Website

If you are part of any association or organization, you should include those affiliations at your website. For example, if your business is part of a Chamber of Commerce or some sort of recognized Internet organization or association, you would be well served by listing this information at your eCommerce website.

"Contact Us" - Make Sure They Really Can …

Everywhere eCommerce website has a "contact us" section or link at the site. However, it is surprising how often these "contact us" devices, links or pages do not function correctly. You need to make certain that any mechanism that you are using to allow for contact between a prospective customer or client and your eCommerce website actually works. You need to make sure that the "contact us" mechanism is user friendly - that a consumer does not have to jump through a bunch of hoops to connect with you. Finally, you need to make certain that when a prospective customer or client makes contact with you that you respond in a timely manner. This will help to foster a sense of trust between a prospective customer or client and your eCommerce website.

Link Building - Basics of Link Building and 5 Methods II

2) You can trade inbound links to your web site. This is generally called reciprocal linking, and there are a number of web sites out there that are designed to help you find other webmasters with a similar niche to yours, and both of you can trade links. By trading links, I mean you put a link on your web site to theirs, and they do the same for you.

If you do this, be absolutely sure that you are not participating in any kind of web ring or link ring, where you agree to put a number of links on your site in exchange for a number of sites linking to yours.

Instead, arrange individual, one on one trades with other webmasters. I would recommend that in this case you trade only with webmasters who have websites pageranked at least at pr 3, although that may be a little more difficult when you are first getting started and you are ranked "0".

Another thing that is important is that you do not link to any web sites that are not pageranked at all or do not show in the search engines. If this is the case, either the web site is brand new, or they have possibly been banned by google. If they are banned by google, this will negatively impact you and your web site, and you could find you are also banned for linking to a banned site.

This is actually an important issue, and is the primary reason why I do not participate in any kind of reciprocal linking. You see, if you exchange, for example, 10 links today, and they are all fine links now, but in a few months perhaps some of them are banned by google, you could find you are also banned, and quite quickly.

So if you do any kind of reciprocal linking, I recommend you set things up in such a way that you can easily check the pageranks of each of the links at least monthly, and delete any outbound links on your site that are pageranked at 0.

To do this most effectively, set up specific reciprocal linking pages in your web site, and perhaps limit each page to 10 or 20 links. Perhaps set up a directory page going to each of the pages with 10 or 20 links each, so you can keep track of them. And then set up a reminder system to check all the links on each of these pages on a monthly basis.

This is of course not foolproof, and that is again why I do not do any kind of reciprocal linking. However, it is a powerful strategy, and so I have chosen not to omit it from this book just because I do not like it or use it.

Google Web History Helps SEO Strategy - Can It Help You

If you are a casual surfer looking for personal information only, maybe Google Web History is for you, or maybe not. If you are searching for information related to your business that might be more important to you than a casual search, it might just be the right thing for you to install on your computer.

If you have the Google toolbar installed, you can install Google Web History and get a list of all of your recently visited sites. Just a reminder that Google is tracking all of this information, but if you want to look at where you've been on the Internet recently, you can find out in an instant.

I use it to review my search patterns. I have a rather focused search related to a particular SEO Strategy, so I want to take a look at my history to see if I am maintaining a focused search, or if I get distracted from my focal point. Do you ever get distracted on a tangent while surfing for specific information? Yeah, doesn't everyone ? I take a look at where I've been in my search, and try to see if my search trail has followed my central search, or become lost along the way.

If you are a heavy duty surfer, you might want to see something that you remembered from earlier in the day, but forgot to bookmark. Google Web History will take you there right away. It could also be used, if you are a meeting and contact sort of person, or if you keep records of someone you spoke with on a certain date. You might remember a conversation on a particular day, and go to your history to find a site that you talked about with that person.

If this sounds like it might be easier than combing through your hundreds of bookmarks to find that lost site, than Google Web History might be for you. I use both Internet Explorer and Firefox for different purposes, but I have to admit that my Firefox bookmarks have become too clogged to be very useful anymore. I like the way Web History records everything, even though the search record has many pages. I usually just review my recent searches from the last few days, and not much further.
I word needs to be said about the way Google tracks information. On the one hand, I have to admit, I don't like Google knowing everywhere I search all over the Internet. I certainly would not want my credit card company or a retail merchant doing such detailed tracking. I know the result would be more junk mail than I get already.

I really don't expect that Google is suddenly going to flood my gmail account with junk e-mail. I already have a certain level of respect for the way that Google filters junk mail, and I don't think their policy will change anytime soon. If it bothers you that Google is tracking your browsing history, then by all means, do not install the Google Toolbar or the Web History feature. By the way, if you have not installed the Google Toolbar yet, it used to be installed with the tracking feature turned off by default. I have been told on good authority that Google Toolbar tracking is now turned on by default. Just to repeat, if you have privacy concerns then install the Google Toolbar and change the defaults, or do not install either the Toolbar or the Web History feature.

I think that the information Google gathers will continue to improve the search upon which they have always hung their hat. As long as quality original content still rules in page rank and search position, I will allow Web History to continue doing what it does, gather and store information. Ostensibly from Google's point of view they do this to provide a better quality search and more personalized search.

The only thing I can see that could potentially derail the Google juggernaut, is to violate what got them to the top, which is their unique page rank algorithm and content quality barometer. It is highly unlikely that Google is ready to alienate users and risk a huge backlash and the resulting negative publicity for a few junk e-mail offers.

Just type Web History into Google, or go to google.com/history to find this new feature.

Happy Surfing !

Profiting From Private Label Rights Articles - A Q & A Session

What are Private Label Rights Articles? Private label rights articles are essentially articles for anyone to use. These articles are sometimes offered free of charge or for a minimal fee, depending on your download source. Private label rights articles, also known as PLR, are articles that have no ties to any one specific person, which means the original author has released any copyright claims they might have.

What can I do with Private Label Rights Articles?

You can do anything you wish with PLR articles. You can leave them "as is" and post them on your own website or blogs. You can also rewrite them, which are highly recommended, and use them for article directories, websites, or blogs. The choice is yours; you are free to do whatever you want with these articles. Below are some other ways you can use PLR articles:

• In E-Courses

• In E-Books

• Newsletters

• Training Manuals

There are many different things you can do with PLR articles, the choice is yours.

What Can't I Do with Private Label Rights Articles?

When it comes to PLR articles, there are not many restrictions. There are a few however. You cannot stake any type of copyright claim on these articles. In other words, if someone else has the same content on his or her own website, which is extremely likely, you do not have any copyright claim to the article.

Also, while it is not an absolutely "can't", you may have trouble listing the PLR articles in any directories. The reason behind this is that, as mentioned above, many people will likely have access to the same articles, which will mean duplicate content. Duplicate content is not allowed in any directories.

What types of people use Private Label Right's articles?

Many different people use PLR articles. For example, an ecommerce store might use articles for website content. A blog owner might use PLR articles to make blog posts. Business minded or traffic minded people have a great need for web content, which can increase awareness and boost traffic if used in the right manner.

How can I profit with Private Label Rights Articles?

The key to profiting from PLR articles is to make the best use possible out of them. PLR articles can be extremely profitable in many different ways.

Here are some ways to profit from PLR articles:

• Combine the articles into an e-Book – You can use PLR articles in any way you see fit, which includes creating an e-Book and selling the e-Book as your own.

• Create an E-Course – Many people create e-courses as a way to boost sales and traffic via email. You would basically set up an auto-responder series, add your contact information to the article, which includes your website and company excerpt, and send to everyone on your opt-in list.

• Article Directories – Gain traffic and back links by rewriting or changing up the article dramatically and submitting to article directories. With your resource box at the end of the article, readers will see this and click on the links you provide.

• Blogs – Many people use blogs as a catch all for website traffic. Here they provide helpful information to their visitors and direct them to visit the sales website for all their needs.

Overall, traffic equals sales, sales equals' profit. If you can get traffic to your website, you will find that the sales increase dramatically, which in turn means your profit increases dramatically.

Tips to Making Private Label Rights Articles Work for You

First, you want to make sure to avoid any duplicate content. Search engines and article directories frown deeply upon duplicate content. Search engines will penalize or ban you from their results and article directories will refuse to list the article or any future articles from you. Therefore, make sure the content is fresh and if you have to, rewrite the article, making significant changes, to make it unique and fresh.

Secondly, you want to be sure the article is well written. Private label rights articles, though very helpful, are not well known for their quality. Therefore, you want to be sure to read through it, ensure that it is easy to use, as well as free from spelling and grammar errors. The goal of content is to provide valuable information to your potential customers and current customers to keep them coming back to you for all their needs.

How to Get One Way Links (Directories)

There are so many criteria that search engines follow to determine a site's rank for certain keywords or search phases. One of these includes links to your site.

The page rank of your site is directly related to the number of links it has. The more links you have pointed to your site with some variation of key phrases. The better ranking in the search engines you will receive.

You may not know how to go about getting one way links to your website, but it really is pretty easy. All you need to do is start listing your website in different web directories and before long you will have plenty of links pointing back to your website.

This is really important and something you want to focus on because if you do not have links to your site then getting ranked high in the search engines will be difficult.

If you can get listed in a web directory that provides search-engine-friendly one-way-links (that is, links that connect directly to your URL), you are essentially acquiring a "vote" to your site, and therefore improving your site's authority in the eyes of Google, Yahoo and other major engines.

One way links and search engine rankings have a great cause and effect relationship. Think of it as a business referral system. The business with the more referrals is most popular and hence, search engines rank them higher. The reason behind it, as many put it, is that the more links you have, higher are the chances of a visitor coming to your site through these links!

There are thousands upon thousands of Internet directories where you can list your site. Some will charge for submission, and the price will vary, from as little a few dollars, to as much as hundreds. Some will accept your site right away, and others will need to review it, to ensure the integrity of their database.

Before submitting to any web directory, check to make sure the directory is not banned by Google. Here's a site, where you can type in the URL of the web directory and find out if it's banned right away: http://123promotion.co.uk/tools/googlebanned.phpIf you don't want to spend a lot of time searching for, picking and choosing directories checkout these two pages. http://www.mainsearches.com/Computers_and_Internet/Web_Directories/ and http://www.eliteweb.cc/directory/internet/web_directories.

Using third party services to submit your Site. You can use an inexpensive service like Feed Shot to submit your site to some of the major blog directories. They no longer offer a free service.Or try a hand submission service like http://submit2please.com/. Who will submit your site to 500 directories for $99.95.

Essential Internet Marketing Software Part II

You will also need a checkout and payment system. There are many different kinds of such systems available. Most banks operate a merchant system to allow you to accept credit and debit cards, but they can be very expensive. One that I looked at when I was starting in internet marketing some years ago charged $500 just to set the system up, and then a hefty fee for each transaction.

Internet marketing is now a more common way of doing business, and while the larger stores still use the traditional expansive banking merchant systems, most ordinary internet businesses use systems such as PayPal, 2Checkout (2CO) and e-Gold. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, but PayPal is probably the most commonly used, accepting credit card, debit card and direct bank transfer payments. If you accept payments with PayPal, you can use your PayPal account credit to pay your bills, and use a PayPal debit card for offline payments.

2Checkout is a system that allows you to populate your account with products, sell them on your website, and accept and make payments. Whichever you use, you will need a checkout system to allow people to make purchases from your website.

If you deal only in items that can be delivered online, then you can decide to sell only those products in the Clickbank inventory. You then require no other sales software since Clickbank deals with it all. They provide you with the links to put on your sales page that takes care of all the sales and payments needed. PayDotCom does a similar thing, but does not have the range of products that Clickbank has.

The third essential software package you will need is an email package. Not one of the free email packages that you can get from Google, Yahoo or any of the other popular free services such as Hotmail. You need an email service that is specific to your website.

If your website is doggles.com then you don't want to be sending emails from me@gmail.com – that is unprofessional. Your email address should be me@doggles.com, and you should have the option of unlimited email addresses so that you can use addresses such as sales@doggles.com and help@doggles.com.

It would take too long to write about all the software needed but these are the three major packages required for an effective website. Whether they are purchased separately or supplied with the web-hosting package you purchase, your online business cannot be effective without the essential internet marketing software comprising an autoresponder, checkout and payment system, and dedicated email addresses.
