What is Ad Tracking?

Let's put it this way:

Online marketing consists of a lot of email messages and
autoresponders, and experienced marketers will tell you
that Ad Tracking is the single most important tool you
can have
.

Every time you send an email message to your safelists or
your mailing list, you will probably have an URL link for
people to click on, right? And how do you know if people
are actually clicking on them?

With an Ad Tracker, you actually put another URL link
in the place of your actual link, one that is connected
to an Ad Tracking service.

For example, here are two seemingly different links:

http://wealthvision2020.ws

http://adtrack.trafficwave.net/t.pl/21764/110699

On the surface, they are different, but both actually go to
the same website, wealthvision2020.ws
One is called the actual link, the other is called the
re-direct link.

Every time someone clicks on the actual link, I do
not know about it. But every time someone clicks on the
re-direct link, my Ad Tracker makes a note of it.
That means I will have a better idea of how effective my
ads really are.

The best way to effectively use an Ad Tracker is to have
two campaigns for the same product or website. That way,
you will be able to compare your ads and improve your
marketing.

You can have an adtracker for each and every ad you send
out. It is well worth the few minutes it takes to set up the
adtrackers, and could translate to improved ad campaigns,
better results and more sales.

The more you track your ads, the better you will get at
writing promotional messages. For more tips and training
