It may not be apparent to your visitors that you are using invisible text or keyword stuffing, but the search engine spiders will discover it easily. Play safe and fair and at all times, use natural search engine optimization, go by the rules and look for long term success.
These are just a few of the most oft-used suggestions to keep your web pages indexed by the search engines. Though, these rules are not complete. There are others that also matter a lot.

I agree with your fourth point. If you want to make to the top of the search engine results pages, don’t use any dirty tricks. If you use blackhat SEO tactics, Google will eventually find you and bring you down. The rise in rankings will only be temporary, but the penalty (which will likely be your website going far down the rankings) will be very severe, if Google catches you. This is why, in my opinion, going whitehat is the only way to bring up the ranking of your website. Engage, connect, create relationships. Play clean; play fair.
